Tankini

Regardless of your body type, the tankini is a classic and stylish two piece that flatters while staying fashionable. Women tankinis are especially comfortable, and they can be quite modest or low-coverage even within the same design.

The tankini has always been a great option for covering a belly or minimizing the bust while still showing off the swimmer’s legs, as most of our tankini tops extend down to the top of the hips and accompany a conservative cut brief bottom or skirtini. It’s a great way to get the comfort of a two piece with the coverage equivalent of a one piece.

                                         

Halter Tankini Swimsuit:

 

The halter is back, and it’s one of the sexiest classic looks available for modern women. The retro style and feel of the halter suit comes from straps that tie around the neck, extending from the front chest.

This leaves your back exposed, while providing great support and lift for the bust. The tie-neck means a universal fit, and the halter style naturally provides a longer look to the torso, helping you to appear taller and slimmer.

The halter also accentuates the shoulders, and the bottom of this tankini shows off the legs.  A sexy, trendy suit, ideal for women who want bust support.  NOTE: The full busted customer often does NOT want a halter b/c the weight of the full bust and tightness of tie necessary to support it, may be too uncomfortable on her neck for long periods of time.

 

Blouson Tankini Swimsuit:

 

An attractive, easy fitting tank top that loosely ties at the hem, our blouson tankinis are exceptionally stylish. The adjustable waist provides a comfortable fit for all types of bodies, as an adjustable waist means an adjustable fit. 

Women blouson tankinis can minimize the tummy or chest---the tank provides a camouflage effect by draping very loosely and easily over the bust and waist. Also perfect for emphasizing the shoulders and upper body while drawing the eye’s attention upwards.

 

Over the shoulder Tankini Suit:

Over the shoulder tankinis are an extremely comfortable, adaptable version of the popular style. Extra support is provided for the bust by a soft cup design, giving the top of the suit a feel reminiscent of a tank top or bra. With either v-neck or scoop neck options, they provide full coverage for the body without feeling restrictive. Skirted Tankini/Skirtini:

 

The skirtini is a flirty, hip version of the tankini that adds a skirt to the traditional design. Swimmers with full hips and thighs will benefit from the stylish skirt, which covers more of the hips, thighs, and upper legs than the traditional brief bottom of other tankinis. While the skirtini swimsuit provides coverage, it's designed to be flattering to the figure, and avoids being matronly with smart feminine styling that provides smart emphasis on the right areas of the figure (especially the upper body and neck and shoulders).

 

Shorts Tankini/Shortini:

 

The shortini is a great suit for active swimmers. It provides full, modest coverage, but still has a fun and sporty look. Women with full hips and thighs will appreciate the coverage of the loose shorts version of the shortini, while women with narrow hips will enjoy the looks and mobility of the boyshorts version. Each of these versions has a great, practical design that’s ideal for long days at the beach or pool, and a variety of colors and patterns can draw attention to different parts of the form depending on body type.

One Piece

If you need a swimsuit that provides a good deal of coverage, the classic one piece (often called a maillot, pronounced my-oh) is still one of the best choices you can make. Various styles including swim-dresses, surplices, bandeaus and blousons can emphasize different parts of the body and provide a secure feel along with a chic and attractive look. The various one pieces available in our store are elegant, flattering, and classic. The one piece swimsuit doesn’t go out of style, and provides basic coverage that makes it an easy wear with hundreds of possible variations in design. One piece swimsuits are a great way to blend support, coverage, and great looks.

 

Basic Tank:

  

The classic, chic style of the basic tank one piece lends elegant support to the entire figure, and emphasizes and downplays (as desired.)  It’s a very sporty looking suit, great for everyday use and an especially strong option for active swimmers. A basic tank is quite easy to wear and stays in place without the need for constant readjustment.

 

Sarong Front:

   

A sarong can be a great way to provide coverage without a full skirt or dress, as it is a subtle touch for a well designed swim suit. Our sarong front one piece combines the functionality of a sarong with a classically designed one piece tank swimsuit by including an extension of fabric in the lower front of the swimsuit. It provides added belly, thigh, and upper leg coverage with very feminine and supportive coverage, perfect for women with fuller hips or bellies (but a great look for anyone). As the sarong front is attached to the suit, there’s no extra accessory to worry about.

 

Surplice Wrap:

  

Our surplice (or wrap) swimsuit is a great looking one piece with a fabric drape across the bust area, which gradually blends into the swimsuit’s midsection. It makes the body appear taller by subtly emphasizing your torso via the supportive and extremely flattering wrap. The stomach is minimized, camouflaged and hidden, and the end result is a very classic and sophisticated look that’s perfect for every type of body. High Neck:

    

A high neck one piece swimsuit provides excellent support for full-busted women, while minimizing the bust through sporty, great looking coverage of the chest. This one piece halter top is trendier and sexier than a traditional one piece, as the upper half uses classic halter top straps to tie around the neck from the front chest. The blouson’s loose fitting tank top is attached to the suit at the waist, providing a comfortable and very secure-feeling way to camouflage a large chest or tummy. Blouson one pieces are idea for heart-shaped (or apple shaped) bodies, but they’re a great look for all women

 

One Piece Bandeau:

 

For a retro look, the one piece bandeau is a trendy swimsuit ideal for sunning. Bandeaus typically have no straps, though in many cases our bandeaus actually come with fully detachable straps, giving you an extra option. As this one piece provides good coverage, it can be a modest suit that’s quite sexy and flirty when it needs to be. The shoulders are emphasized greatly with a one piece bandeau, giving a trendy look for all women and an especially fun and attractive look for women with smaller or medium busts.

Swimdress

Of all of the swimsuit types, the swim dress provides the most coverage--it’s exactly like a dress that you can swim in. You don’t need to sacrifice style for coverage, though, as a variety of cuts and prints give the wearer almost unlimited options. The swimdress swimsuit can be very flirty and cute, especially with some of our contemporary styles. Its excellent coverage comes from a full-surround skirt that covers all, especially ideal for minimizing and camouflaging fuller hips and thighs. It’s a very practical, modest, and chic swimsuit, and a popular style for many different body types.

 

Twist Front Swimdress:  

Like the classic swim dress, the twist front swimdress swimsuit provides full coverage with a modern look. The addition of the front twist draws the eye up to the bust and the shoulders of the wearer. Although this emphasizes the bust, the modesty of the twist front swim dress helps it stay an ideal choice for full busted women. It’s sexy, cute, and very comfortable and secure--a great swim dress for a unique look, and a modern twist (literally) on a classic style.

 

Lingerie Strap Swimdress:

  

The lingerie swimdress swimsuit provides less coverage than some of the classic styles, but still provides a form flattering look that comfortably and manageably supports the bust. It’s particularly a good choice for small and medium busts. The design of the lower portion of the swim dress flattens and smoothes the tummy and the thin straps provide a flirty look to the shoulders.

Athletic/Water Aerobic Swimwear

Regular pool swimmers can greatly benefit from our chlorine resistant swimsuits, which can save quite a bit of money and last three times longer than a normal swimsuit in terms of chlorine exposure. Heavy polyester or PBT nylon fabric is injected with safe, tested chemicals to allow the suit to withstand chlorinated water for long periods of time without fading or degrading in any way. Spandex is combined with the treated materials to give a comfortable fit--chlorine proof swimwear feels and looks exactly like any other form of swimwear, with the only difference being that it lasts much longer. An ideal choice for anyone taking water aerobics classes, or anyone who spends a lot of time in any sort of chlorinated water (pools, hot tubs, etc).

 

Cross back & active back:

Cross back swimsuits are the standard choice of regular swimmers and water aerobics classes, as the design allows for easy, free shoulder movement. Since the straps open wide, they’re easy to put on and take off, yet very unlikely to slip during swimming. Cross back straps provide full support for the bust and spread support out over the entire torso rather than putting all of the weight on the shoulders, providing a comfortable wear. Cross back suits are essential for anyone with an active lifestyle that includes water exercise. They support and lift to give a flattering look to the body while still staying very practical for regular swimming.

 

Highneck/Keyhole back:

The straps of a highneck swimsuit extend around the back to clasp at the top of the neck, which almost completely eliminates the possibility of slipping straps and provides much fuller support of the bust than a typical suit.
