82% Nylon / 18% Spandex
After every use, the garment must be hand washed. Harmful elements such as suntan lotions, salt, chlorine, and body perspiration can cause discoloration and spandex breakdown. Since laundry detergents are too harsh on the spandex and the color, use mild hand soap made without added moisturizers. Do not wring the swimsuit to remove excess water. Lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel up and squeeze gently. Remove it from the towel and lay it flat to dry. Do not hang it to dry as that will stretch out the fibers in the fabric. Avoid using washers and dryers as damage can occur due to agitation and excessive heat. It is also important to let your suit "rest" between uses. This allows the spandex to bounce back (called recovery) to its original size and maintain its fit longer. If you wear a suit without letting it recover, it will lose its shape and fit more quickly. It's recommended to let the suit rest for 24-36 hours between uses. Always remove excess moisture with a towel and lay flat to dry indoors or in the shade. Also note, direct sunlight will fade your suit. It is always a great idea to have more than one suit.
Women with longer torsos often find it difficult to find a proper fit and style that flatters the figure while staying comfortable and classy. The Longitude® brand was made to fit that need, and evolved out of the well renowned Robby Len® swimsuit brand. Longitude® swimsuits use basic bodies such as one piece suits and skirted tankinis. The fresh, new designs have an air of sophistication, developed by using sleek, sharp, and classy solids & color blocks as well as big, colorful florals and tropical prints. Any woman with a longer torso will appreciate the fine attention to detail and contemporary styles of this brand.

Love the colors and the styleI love the high neck style for Water Aerobics. The colors and pattern look great on and I feel comfortable working out in the pool with this suit on.

Keeps sun off my chest - sun buns easilyI love Longitude suits because of the extra torso length! Have been wearing them for over 30 years. Have several, and this review is for all of them. However, would like to see more bust support (like underwires) to lift and separate and shape the bust. Enhance cleavage. Even the shelf bras allow the bust to sag and fall too low. The length of the suits is great, but the bust needs to be raised higher. The bust is also too big for the rest of the suit. Definitely made for extra large bust, I am average not small. The stretch in the suits actually pull my bust down. I hate that. Perhaps even longer torso is needed for the suit to allow the bust to be high enough.

Good fitThe Longitude brand suits with a high neck in size 8 always fit me perfectly. They do fade quickly in chlorinated water, so best to use in a saltwater pool or beach. I always get compliments on these suits. I am large busted and short. The high neck is great for me and the longer torso gives more room for my bust. Very flattering fit.

GREAT SLIMMING SWIMSUITI have a Caribbean cruise planned for June but have already used the swimsuit at my pool! It is a great fit, and very flattering as well. Also, the color has stayed very well, and we use chlorine in our pool, which tends to fade most suits after one or two uses.

Beautiful Bright Colored Swim SuitI started swimming again for exercise & have gotten many compliments on the vivid colors & the way the suit is made. I have told everyone where to buy their swim suits. The suit was a "little" big on me but this is a better made suit than any I tried on in the stores, so I marked true to size. I will know on my next purchase. This is very well made & I am thrilled with it.

Longitude doesn't hold up for Water AerobicsI loved the way this suit looked and supported me and received many compliments on it. My mom and I both bought the Longitude Blue Fan Club suit as well. Unfortunately after approx 10 hour long water aerobic classes in a chlorinated pool all 3 suits (1 Heatwave and 2 Blue Fan Club) had deteriorated causing the rear end and sides to become see through and lose elasticity. For a suit this expensive that is "chlorine resistant" I can't give it more than 1 star no matter how much I loved it at first. This is too bad because longitude is the only brand I've found to fit me well. Please make them in 100 percent polyester! Also note that the care instructions listed on this site do not match the tag. Here it says to lay the suit flat....how many people have a good place to lay a wet suit out after water aerobics? I did rinse it after each use and follow the label.

Perfect Suit!I wanted a suit that would fit my long torso, cover my bottom and was colorful. This suit does it all. I am 59 years old and just started swimming laps a couple of months ago, in either a salt or chlorine pool. This suit is comfortable and great for swimming. I always hand wash my suits and lay them out to dry. This brand have the best suits for me.

Just what I wantedI'd been looking for a modest swimsuit with a keyhole back like this for a long time. My other swimsuit finally wore out and this one was almost identical in style and fit. It stays in place while swimming laps, is flattering to my 50+ body, and feels comfortable. It was just what I had expected and at a great price.
I've had a robby len suit for over 10 years, fits perfectly. Long torso and high neck are hard to find. I have had radiation treatments for breast cancer and can never expose that area to sunlight so high neck is critical.
I love the bright colors, and the high neck looked practical for more active swimming. I have a lower cut suit that makes my bust look great, but it feels less secure and less hydrodynamic when swimming.
Best Answer:The one I purchased in Jan 2014 had the back that is shown on the far right...I don't know why they have the 2 styles, maybe the one in the middle is the back that goes to the scoop front version of this suit.
I wear a breast prothesis. Would I be able to have pockets sewn into this suit?
A shopper on Apr 5, 2015
Best Answer:Yes I believe that you could easily add a pocket into this suit and probably any of the other high neck, hook in the back style suits. This style is comfortable, looks sexy, but doesn't really "show" off the skin so no one would be the wiser. The Longitude fits long waisted or long torso women, but I haven also found the Aqua Bella in the same style and it fits me really well. Both brands have lovely suits. I get lots of compliments on all my suits that I bought from Swimsuits for All.
