    Kind of thin.

I'm 56, 5'10", 210 pounds. I bought these because I want to feel like I'm wearing shorts to the beach, way beyond showing everything off at my age. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered two sizes up. I'm glad I did. Kind of snug like gym shorts would be, and kind of thin. I like them though because I was able to get a bigger size. I feel covered.

    Absolute Perfection!

Ordered these the moment I saw them, to add to my many SFA pieces. While I like the bike shorts, I was really looking everywhere on the net for this length of swim leggings. Well, the moment I put these on, I was thrilled. I am a size 14, and the fit is perfect. The leg length is pretty much as the photo shows ( I'm 5' 3 1/2") and fits not too tight and not loose at all. When I paired it with one of my SFA Aquabelle racer-back tankini tops, the overall coverage was also perfect - the top came down long enough to cover the crotch area. I plan to wear these with a high waisted swim bottom underneath ( some kind of swim bottom should be worn with it, I think). I then tried on one of my Land's End SPF ruched swim tops with it and , wow! What a great look! I have one more vacation coming up and am looking forward to wearing these if I swim. For women my age (almost 64), a modest but stylishly athletic look to swim in is so cool to find. I hope SFA and Aquabelle keep up the good work. The overall quality of these leggings is very, very good.

    Love it!

I just received this item this week and tried them on immediately. The fit is great and I love the way they help make my chubby thighs look so much better. I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't like the way their legs look and the flabby moving fat that's been accrued over so many years!

    Great swim short

I have only worn this short once at water aerobics. It is very comfortable, fits great, and looks great with my tankini tops. I love this style, I feel comfortable in or out of the water.

    exactly what i wanted

These swim shorts are exactly what I was hoping to find. I love two-piece bathing suits, but am pretty uncomfortable showing off my upper thighs. I read the reviews, and they were spot-on recommending I purchase a size or two bigger than I normally wear. I typically fit into a 10-12, so I purchased the size 14. They didn't ride up, nor did they cut into my legs. I hadn't been swimming in years, but had an amazing time in these swim shorts.

I purchased aqua belle shortini style 1960 approximately 5 months ago due to being chlorine resistant as I do water aerobics. The bottoms are showing signs of chlorine wear all over and now I find it necessary to replace them. I am very disappointed in this product as it doesn't live up to its claim. What do you suggest I do?
