    Excellent for Lap Swimming

My friend bought me one at full price for my birthday, and I love it! Doesnt ride up when doing flip-turns, top stays up and bottom stays put when getting out of the pool. All important for a 62yr old woman.

    I love this suit!

This is the third suit I've gotten from this company. Each one has been fantastic! Great quality and fit

  3. 4 out of 5 stars.

    Good quality

This is the second aquabelle suit I have ordered I ordered them both in a size 18. The first one fit perfectly so when I ordered this one I figured it would fit the same. But, it was too small,so I am returning it. I'm hoping the size 20 will fit. I love the quality of the suit. I am a 71 year old lap swimmer and also do some of the water exercise classes so I need something conservative and durable.

    stretched out and faded

I'm not sure how long the chlorine resistant suits "should" hold up, but the 3 I've purchased so far have only held up for 4-5 months with about 6 hours a week in the pool usage, even though I rinse in the shower after each use. The other problem is the stretching out- the front material stretches and sags quite a bit. Having said that, the fit and pretty good and since it's so difficult to find high neck suits appropriate for water vollyball, I will most likely try another suit.

    Nice suit

I bought this suit for a trip, but it's too big. I ordered my normal size, so maybe it just runs generous. I am returning. Nice suit and great quality!

how long does a chlorine resistant swim suit last?
REBECCA H on Dec 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Rebecca,
The time your chlorine resistant swimsuit lasts depends greatly of the use and care you give it. We always advise our customers that to have their suits last longer, they care for them as follows:

•Hand wash after every use. Suntan lotions, salt, chlorine, and body perspiration can cause discoloration and spandex breakdown. Since laundry detergents are too harsh on the spandex and the color, use mild hand soap made without added moisturizers.

•Flat dry. Do not wring the swimsuit to remove excess water. Lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel up and squeeze gently. Remove it from the towel and lay it flat to dry indoors or in the shade. Do not hang it to dry as that will stretch out the fibers in the fabric. Avoid using washers and dryers as damage can occur due to agitation and excessive heat.

It is also important to let your suit "rest" between uses. This allows the spandex to recover its original size and maintain its fit longer. If you wear a suit without letting it recover, it will lose its shape and fit more quickly. It's recommended to let the suit rest for 24-36 hours between uses.

Do you have any long torso suits that are chlorine resistant?
Martha M on Feb 3, 2017
why don't you offer a blouson or top or bathing suit in chlorine resistant ? Everything is tight. Think of an expectant woman or a woman with a large stomach needing a suit.
