Aquabelle's exclusive polyester spandex fabric is chlorine resistant & colorfast. Spandex adds comfort & stretch to retain fit and resist bagging.
Bike short swim bottom fits true to size
82% Polyester / 18% Spandex
After every use, the garment must be hand washed. Harmful elements such as suntan lotions, salt, chlorine, and body perspiration can cause discoloration and spandex breakdown. Since laundry detergents are too harsh on the spandex and the color, use mild hand soap made without added moisturizers. Do not wring the swimsuit to remove excess water. Lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel up and squeeze gently. Remove it from the towel and lay it flat to dry. Do not hang it to dry as that will stretch out the fibers in the fabric. Avoid using washers and dryers as damage can occur due to agitation and excessive heat. It is also important to let your suit "rest" between uses. This allows the spandex to bounce back (called recovery) to its original size and maintain its fit longer. If you wear a suit without letting it recover, it will lose its shape and fit more quickly. It's recommended to let the suit rest for 24-36 hours between uses. Always remove excess moisture with a towel and lay flat to dry indoors or in the shade. Also note, direct sunlight will fade your suit. It is always a great idea to have more than one suit.

Trims the rear MEANS runs very smallI wear a 16 and an 18 is still too small. Material is good quality it may look like its thin until you put it on. It's not see thru. Waistband is narrow and it runs high waisted so it rolls on me, don't like that. Moderately snug on the thighs, If it were slightly tighter it would make bulging thighs and wouldn't look attractive. It's above the knee but I pull it up a little more for move ability. I ordered the boy shorts and hope they aren't too short. Order two sizes up unless you want it snug and tight tight. I would think stretching the Lycra wouldn't be good on it and would wear out sooner.

Yeah for Thigh Coverage!I bought a size 20 and they fit ok (I normally wear pants size 22 but have been dieting and exercising harder lately). I am short-waisted and would prefer a "modern-fit" waistline style. I wore these on a holiday water park adventure where I was in a swimsuit for most of two days. I love these long-length swim shorts for thigh coverage (no discomfort from the inevitable rubbing thighs) and they dried completely overnight too! We are going to Latin America in February and I look forward to wearing these all day on trips that will include beach time. I hope they hold up well, because eventually they are destined to become my next water aerobics wear.

Exactly what I wanted....I bought these because I do water aerobics and other water exercises. They are great for that. Perfect amount of coverage without looking out of place. The shorts are true to size and fit me just like a good pair of bike shorts. They hold their shape, dry quickly, don't fade from chlorine and do not ride up or down in the water. I ordered another pair so that I can switch on and off between workouts. Oh, and these shorts look great paired with a tankini top. At the pool, I feel covered enough, but not 'overdressed'. I love them!

"THE BEST"I attend YMCA deep water excerise classes. Chlorine resistant is a must. I also have a one piece swim wear and a tanktini top. Could not ask for anything better. Also, I do watch for sales and coupons and they are never very hard to locate. Love the products and also the service.

Loved it, but soooo small.I bought these because I loved the length. Not too short, not to long. I normally wear a size 12 or 14 in pants, so I bought a 14 in these. WAY too small I received them and they looked like a juniors XL. I'd hate to see what it would have been like had I ordered a 12! I was very disappointed considering this website specifically sells plus size swim suits. The exchange process was a little tricky, but I did exchange it for an 18. My recommendations would be to order these 2 sizes up from what you normally would.

Size way up!I purchased these bike short bottoms because I like to wear them under dresses and skirts for a little smooth coverage, that will inhibit 'cling'. For this application, they are fine. My actual size is 16/18 and I prefer a looser fit, so I ordered a 22. This size was far too tight in the waist and leg bands, and if my intent was to use this short for swimming, I would definitely not, (squeezed and revealing)! I returned the size 22 and ordered a 24, and the only difference in the two sizes is that the 24 is higher waisted... not less tight mind you, just 2-3 inches longer. I do not have large thighs, or much hip/butt to speak of, just a proportionate athletic build, and they are still snug. My suggestion would be to order at least 3 sizes up for comfort. That being said, I have not worn these in water, so I don't know how they will stretch... seeing that they are SO thin, I would never wear them in water unless they were completely covered up!

Trying to be fit from
Like the concept...butI really like the two piece/ bike short practicality. I like the comfort, look and coverage. However, they are pretty thin. I have worn them 2-3 times a week for about a month, I rinse them and air dry each time. I was very disappointed to find the inside seam coming apart. I will make a second purchase and hope for the best because I like wearing the two piece, and I feel so much more comfortable with the coverage.

nice sizing unless u have larger thighsAs I am not a fan of board shorts I was looking for something else instead & was happy to find A plus size bike short that's chlorine resistant - the fit is really good apart from thigh area - as I have very generous/large thighs if your like me I suggest you go up one size from the waist size /hip area if you have a large thighs apart from that they are a good fit and a good price too
Same reason as above but just was not sure which length to go with. Since the person I chatted with said I could return them I figured why not get all the sizes and lengths I wanted to try all at once. It is so nice you have a return policy. Thank you.
Not only is this a GREAT bathing suit bottom (When I didn't think I'd ever be able to face going to the beach again) but I am wearing these as underwear, and they are SOOOO comfortable. No more squirming in my office chair, no more tugging.
I like wearing shorts on the beach and I had a pair but they were a little too short. So I decided to try these to wear with my new halter tankini top. I most likely may roll it up one time to bring them up a bit, but I also think that I may wear them to the gym.
I like the color and tummy control on both suits. I am hoping the bike shorts will help me be less self conscious in swim class. Chlorine resistant suits that are attractive are hard to find so I am excited to have found two.
Best Answer:I bought a shorter style by the same company first, then bought these in the same exact size, these didn't fit at all! I was so disappointed and had already thrown out the packaging (taken the liner and tags off too) because I was sure it would fit like the previous shorter ones.
Best Answer:No inside panty . . .they fit well & are substantial, long lasting. I wear mine over my regular one piece maillot for exercise class in the water. I swim 3 days a week & so far they have lasted since middle of 2014 summer and are still in good condition.
Best Answer:I have not noticed that when they are dry, I don't know about when wet. The seam does not just go from front to back in the crotch area there is an extra oval in there so that may help out with avoiding that problem.
