After every use, the garment must be hand washed. Harmful elements such as suntan lotions, salt, chlorine, and body perspiration can cause discoloration and spandex breakdown. Since laundry detergents are too harsh on the spandex and the color, use mild hand soap made without added moisturizers. Do not wring the swimsuit to remove excess water. Lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel up and squeeze gently. Remove it from the towel and lay it flat to dry. Do not hang it to dry as that will stretch out the fibers in the fabric. Avoid using washers and dryers as damage can occur due to agitation and excessive heat. It is also important to let your suit "rest" between uses. This allows the spandex to bounce back (called recovery) to its original size and maintain its fit longer. If you wear a suit without letting it recover, it will lose its shape and fit more quickly. It's recommended to let the suit rest for 24-36 hours between uses. Always remove excess moisture with a towel and lay flat to dry indoors or in the shade. Also note, direct sunlight will fade your suit. It is always a great idea to have more than one suit.

Nice TopI really liked the look of this top so I ordered. I usually am a 14 but am getting a menopause belly so I ordered up on this one and got a 16 - it is a bit tight to get on w/the tummy control, but once I get it on it's okay. I like the ruching effect b/c it camoflages the tummy area which is my problem spot. The straps don't give much support because they come in from the sides, but I really liked the style so I just pulled them more up the sides of the cups and sewed them and it helped a lot. Looks much cuter this way and supports the "girls" much better. This suit is good for a curvy figure - big on top and in hips with a small waist.

Love the look, but isn't practical.I love the look of this suit. A lot of reviews said it fit a little big so I didn't order up a size. I probably should have. I was worried the chest would be too large, and instead it's quite small. The straps aren't connected on the sides or top of the suit--it's hard to tell from the photos. Definately not enough support at the top of the bustline. I've had three kids and I feel better with a little lift from the straps. It fits a lot like a bandeau on the top, the straps are purely decorative. The band underneath is wonderful though, I really can't wait to order another suit top to try from this company. I really wish it was better for me--the look is stunning.

Looks Like The Picture!Bottom line: This is not for water aerobics or active swimming. This design is for a classy and sexy look hangin' at the pool or on a boat. I read ALL the reviews on this top. They are correct, there is not enough support and where the strap is placed it does not help to lift the "girls". However, my solution to most of my swim-tops is that I just go ahead and wear a bra. For this swim top, I have a "convertible" bra that allows me to hide my bra strap behind the suit straps. Works great and my girls are up and in place! I have two bras that are "old" and I designated them to my swimsuit collection. Rarely underwire swimsuits work for me so this has been my way of not being held captive by a swimsuit design. If I really like a suit (like this one) I work with it. The top also gathers gently around the waist like in the picture. It's a classic look and I love it.

looks great on!Suit is cute, fits well, just what I was looking for and a flattering fit. I won't be using this suit for any serious swimming as it doesn't fit close enough to the girls and stay put. I am a 42DD, and was looking for something practical that fit well. This is a nice top for my skirt/shorts bottom, and it is versatile, but think it might not hold them in when it comes to actual swimming...

Beautiful fit but no bust support. There is barely any bust support. The straps don't attach to the bust they attach to the sides. It looks and feels like you're wearing a strapless top. I had my straps sewed on at an angle so they actually lift the top. Perfect idea because now my bust isn't sagging they have the right lift and fit. This is a very sexy top!

Cute but not for a tall girlThis looks really cute on, but it's just not long enough to be an active swimsuit with the short bottoms. As soon as I raised my arms or move it was going to ride up and show my belly. Probably going to return it. But it's adorable! Would probably work great on a shorter lady.

Loved it, but it didn't love me back.I'm five foot even. And this top was way too long, to the point I couldn't even bunch it up creatively like I do with other tankini tops. I could have worn it as a dress. Other than that, I really, REALLY wished I could keep it. Very flattering. I'd order a size down.

no support for larger breastsI ordered this because I loved the idea of being around to wear it strapless. That is impossible if you have larger breasts. It has absolutely no support to do this. I was expecting some kind of light boning on the sides or something for support.
I loved the ability to choose sizes of top and bottom separate which made for a better fit in your Tankini suit. I love the style and look forward to getting back into a swimsuit with style once again.
