After every use, the garment must be hand washed. Harmful elements such as suntan lotions, salt, chlorine, and body perspiration can cause discoloration and spandex breakdown. Since laundry detergents are too harsh on the spandex and the color, use mild hand soap made without added moisturizers. Do not wring the swimsuit to remove excess water. Lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel up and squeeze gently. Remove it from the towel and lay it flat to dry. Do not hang it to dry as that will stretch out the fibers in the fabric. Avoid using washers and dryers as damage can occur due to agitation and excessive heat. It is also important to let your suit "rest" between uses. This allows the spandex to bounce back (called recovery) to its original size and maintain its fit longer. If you wear a suit without letting it recover, it will lose its shape and fit more quickly. It's recommended to let the suit rest for 24-36 hours between uses. Always remove excess moisture with a towel and lay flat to dry indoors or in the shade. Also note, direct sunlight will fade your suit. It is always a great idea to have more than one suit.
Women with longer torsos often find it difficult to find a proper fit and style that flatters the figure while staying comfortable and classy. The Longitude® brand was made to fit that need, and evolved out of the well renowned Robby Len® swimsuit brand. Longitude® swimsuits use basic bodies such as one piece suits and skirted tankinis. The fresh, new designs have an air of sophistication, developed by using sleek, sharp, and classy solids & color blocks as well as big, colorful florals and tropical prints. Any woman with a longer torso will appreciate the fine attention to detail and contemporary styles of this brand.
due to being a senior citizen with slightly rounded shoulders, particularly like the way in which the back has 'straps criss-crossing to help keep shoulder straps in place while doing water aerobics, Have used this brand in the past, just different color patterns. Only wished they held up better in the chlorine--about 3.5 months is as long as they seem to last.
I chose this suit because I love the bright colors in the pattern and that the print continues onto the back. I also was impressed with the fit of this brand so I'm hoping that they all fit well. I have had trouble with straps from other suits digging into my shoulders. I also liked the criss cross in the back so the straps won't be able to slip down.
The Longitude brand fits me the best, and I like the X back style, also. To me Longitude also has the best, fun patterns. I buy many suits from you, as I do not like to wear the same suit every Mon., Weds. and Fri. when I go to my aqua fitness class. It keeps the other ladies GUESSING-- what I will be wearing-
I currently own a swimsuit by Robby Len longitude and love how it fits. It is multicolored but the back is solid black, so I picked this one because of its multicolor on the back of the swimsuit as well as the front
This brand is wonderful. I don't have a long torso but I am a larger woman with a large bustline. This brand is well made with a great supportive bra. I chose this suit because I love the colors and the X back helps keep the bustline in place.
I bought a Longitude suit from Penneys and liked it so well that I tried to order another. They were out of stock, so I searched for the brand elsewhere. That suit is the most comfortable and best fitting suit I've ever owned. I hope this one will be too.
I am interested in the Longitude bathing suits. Are they Chlorine Resistent??

Best Answer:Our Longitude swimsuits are not specifically chlorine resistant, but our Aquabelle collection is entirely chlorine resistant! I would strongly recommend buying our Swim Suit Solution protective cleanser - as this will safely remove all of the chlorine from your Longitude suit & that will preserve the Lycra & suit's shape/color.
No. I ordered the vibrant color suit because of the rich color . Unfortunately it faded after wearing it about 8 times in a pool. Very comfortable, great fit and wears well (doesn't pill, stretch out, or run)
Best Answer:I'm not sure what you mean. You can't just take off any part of the suite. I guess you can cut out the bra cup, but I'm not sure that's what you mean. Sorry not much help. It's lined with the cup.
The bra is relatively thin. It's part of a front panel lining. Not sure exactly what you mean by "partly removed". It would be too thin to separate. I suppose you could cut it out and still leave the rest of the front panel. Hope this helps.
