After every use, the garment must be hand washed. Harmful elements such as suntan lotions, salt, chlorine, and body perspiration can cause discoloration and spandex breakdown. Since laundry detergents are too harsh on the spandex and the color, use mild hand soap made without added moisturizers. Do not wring the swimsuit to remove excess water. Lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel up and squeeze gently. Remove it from the towel and lay it flat to dry. Do not hang it to dry as that will stretch out the fibers in the fabric. Avoid using washers and dryers as damage can occur due to agitation and excessive heat. It is also important to let your suit "rest" between uses. This allows the spandex to bounce back (called recovery) to its original size and maintain its fit longer. If you wear a suit without letting it recover, it will lose its shape and fit more quickly. It's recommended to let the suit rest for 24-36 hours between uses. Always remove excess moisture with a towel and lay flat to dry indoors or in the shade. Also note, direct sunlight will fade your suit. It is always a great idea to have more than one suit.
Women with longer torsos often find it difficult to find a proper fit and style that flatters the figure while staying comfortable and classy. The Longitude® brand was made to fit that need, and evolved out of the well renowned Robby Len® swimsuit brand. Longitude® swimsuits use basic bodies such as one piece suits and skirted tankinis. The fresh, new designs have an air of sophistication, developed by using sleek, sharp, and classy solids & color blocks as well as big, colorful florals and tropical prints. Any woman with a longer torso will appreciate the fine attention to detail and contemporary styles of this brand.
I found it in the tall section. I am hoping it is actually a tall size suit. I like the color, shaping, and the sale price. Hopefully it will be long enough for me, at 6'1", and I will be more comfortable doing laps at the Y than I have been with my current tank top / bottoms. :-)
It just think the colors are very pretty, plus it's a style I've gotten before and it fits me well. I'm 5'10" and it fits my longer torso. I wear it for water aerobics, so I want a little more coverage over the bust and this style has it.
I love the bright colors in the pattern, fabric, and design of the suit with the X Back. I have a long torso and the suit fits beautifully. It is very light weight fo swimming and water aerobics and dries quickly/
I am interested in the Longitude bathing suits. Are they Chlorine Resistent??

Best Answer:Our Longitude swimsuits are not specifically chlorine resistant, but our Aquabelle collection is entirely chlorine resistant! I would strongly recommend buying our Swim Suit Solution protective cleanser - as this will safely remove all of the chlorine from your Longitude suit & that will preserve the Lycra & suit's shape/color.
No. I ordered the vibrant color suit because of the rich color . Unfortunately it faded after wearing it about 8 times in a pool. Very comfortable, great fit and wears well (doesn't pill, stretch out, or run)
Best Answer:I'm not sure what you mean. You can't just take off any part of the suite. I guess you can cut out the bra cup, but I'm not sure that's what you mean. Sorry not much help. It's lined with the cup.
The bra is relatively thin. It's part of a front panel lining. Not sure exactly what you mean by "partly removed". It would be too thin to separate. I suppose you could cut it out and still leave the rest of the front panel. Hope this helps.
I have many friends who love your swimsuits and wear the larger sizes as 20, 22, 24 etc. The problem is many of us wear a size C cup therefore we can't buy theses suits and they are adorable. Any ideas?
