We know that when it comes to shopping for plus size swimwear, finding the right style to fit your shape can be difficult. Use Design Fit to easily find the perfect swimsuit to highlight your favorite assets and accentuate those beautiful curves.

Design Fit can help you find swimsuits that: enhance bust, minimize bust, showoff legs, hide hips, provide core slimming, or fit long torsos. What kind of swimsuit are you looking for? Just select from one of the styles above to find a swimsuit that’s tailored to fit you!

For maximum bust support, shop for one of our structured high neck one piece, scoop neck or underwire swimsuits. To accentuate the bust, choose a one piece or tankini with a low-neckline for a sexy, feminine look.

A one piece swimsuit or tankini can be exactly what you need to show off shapely legs, while swimdresses, skirtinis and shortinis help hide and minimize thighs and hips. For a flattering look, shop for swimsuits with bold prints to break up the torso or empire waists to cinch and shrink the waistline. Slimming Longitude® one pieces are a great solution for women with long torsos looking for stylish, comfortable swimwear.

If you’re still having trouble finding the swimsuit that’s right for you, contact our plus size swimwear stylists! They’ll help you find the swimsuit or cover up that will have you looking your best. Contact us at 1.888.241.SWIM.

  1. 5 out of 5 stars.

    Swimming suit

I bought it for swimming without realizing there was a bra Inside. It is very comfortable for swimming.

  2. 5 out of 5 stars.

    Adorable top!

This was my first purchase from this site and this is my new FAVORITE tankini and I have many! The built in cup is a little more substantial than other my tops. The colors are vibrant. The material weight is exactly what I would of picked if given a choice. Excellent top! I'm glad I read the other reviews that said the top ran small. I size bigger and it's perfect!

  3. 5 out of 5 stars.

    Love it...

So pleased. Perfect look, price and fast delivery.

  4. 4 out of 5 stars.

Just what I was looking for!

I recently started swimming again after a very long hiatus, and was in need of a new suit. This suit had everything I was looking for--good fit, comfortable style, and durable chlorine resistant material.

  5. 3 out of 5 stars.

    Flattering, but doesn't last

I loved this suit when I first bought it-It's feminine and class while flattering my figure at the same time. I teach swimming 3x a week and by the end of the first month it was completely see-through in the back. This suit was expensive and technically in the chlorine-resistant line, so I wish it would have lasted a bit longer.

what is the best option for a petite sz 12 38DD top and 8 bottom? I am so odd shaped It is really hard to find a good fitting swimsuit. I guess a one piece is out of the question.
Toni T on Jan 11, 2015
I am somewhere in-between a size 20 & a 22 (my tummy is bigger than the 22, but my torso is shorter than the 22). I've just joined an AquaFit class & am looking for simple, onepiece athletic suit that won't fall off my shoulders or dig into my armpits while I'm splashing about in the pool. Chlorine resistant would be great too, of course! What style & size do you suggest I buy?
Kitty H on Dec 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Aquabelle would be the best option for Chlorine and the 2 piece would be good due to the different sizing please check the follwing link:

I have trouble with leg openings with "gaps" due to large tummy and skinny legs. I was hoping for a one-piece which works well for snorkeling. Tankinis tend to "float" up and expose torso. What is my best option for a suit with lower leg openings?
Karen v on Oct 12, 2015

We are afraid that a one-piece is not the best option due the measurements for a one-piece, we may advise to check our tankini, here we have some options that can work for you:

Remember that you can return the item for store credit or refund.
My cup size is a 46 GGG and I can't find bikini swim tops that fit my size and have nice strong support anywhere. Does anybody anywhere make bikini swim tops in that size or should I learn how to make them myself?
Kiko W on Oct 10, 2015

Unfortunately, we don't carry swimsuits in cup size GGG. However, remember that the cup size is proportional to the size. We suggest you to take your measurements in inches and compare our sizing chart next to the 'Shop by Size' category.

Mary Anne S on Sep 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Mary Anne!

We do apologize for the inconvenience, we carry regular sizes.
My body shape: short-waisted; very busty (42 F); apple body. What's the best swim suit for me?
A shopper on Sep 17, 2015

Remember that everybody carries the weight differently. It is also very important to take into account the style you are interested in. I suggest you to check out the size chart for each brand, since it changes depending on that. As well, we suggest you to choose the size that you feel would be more comfortable and remember that you can always exchange it if it doesn't fit.
I have a short torso. Most suits are too long. I am 4' 11' I wear a size 16. Why don't you carry petite sizes?
Elaine R on Sep 11, 2015

I need a tankini top that has a bra type closure,,bra size 36 DD , Do you have this?
A shopper on Sep 8, 2015

According to the information provided, a size 10 should work, however, we may advise that most of our tops from size 10 to 16 have a C/D cup size, and from size 18 till 26 the cup size is D/DD. Here it is the link from some swimsuits with metal S-hook closure:

And here it is one of the bikinis that has a D/DD cup size in all sizes with metal S-hook closure with 3 adjustments:

•Full one-piece matching black suit underneath what does that mean when describing a swim dress Describe it please?
Heather B on Aug 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Heather!

This means that the swimdress is not a two piece, dress, and bottom. It's a one piece and the suit underneath is attached to the swimdress.
My bathing suit top is bunching up above my breast. The bra size is ok it is the material that is bunching up. Do you think I need a bigger size???

We may suggest to have a look at our sizing chart in the link below:

In that way, you will be able to compare your measurements (bust, waist, hip and torso) and verify if you have selected the proper size.
