After every use, the garment must be hand washed. Harmful elements such as suntan lotions, salt, chlorine, and body perspiration can cause discoloration and spandex breakdown. Since laundry detergents are too harsh on the spandex and the color, use mild hand soap made without added moisturizers. Do not wring the swimsuit to remove excess water. Lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel up and squeeze gently. Remove it from the towel and lay it flat to dry. Do not hang it to dry as that will stretch out the fibers in the fabric. Avoid using washers and dryers as damage can occur due to agitation and excessive heat. It is also important to let your suit "rest" between uses. This allows the spandex to bounce back (called recovery) to its original size and maintain its fit longer. If you wear a suit without letting it recover, it will lose its shape and fit more quickly. It's recommended to let the suit rest for 24-36 hours between uses. Always remove excess moisture with a towel and lay flat to dry indoors or in the shade. Also note, direct sunlight will fade your suit. It is always a great idea to have more than one suit.

I already have one of these Aquabelle Skirts and I love it, so I wanted to get another one! Aquabelle has proven to me they really are better for lasting longer than regular bathing suits when wearing them in water therapy!
Most of your swimsuits have front lining which works well but the back (particularly the bottom area) quickly loses its elasticity and becomes transparent. I'm hoping that I can prolong the life of these swimsuits by wearing a swim skirt over the sagging swimsuits.
Best Answer:mid thigh is not a great ans. every person is built different. To me it is important to know the inches. to get the proper estimate of coverage, some are made differently so this is important.
I have noticed that all skirts are listed as "mid thigh". An 15" skirt on me, at 5'2" is very different than an 15" skirt on a woman who is 5'10". An exact measurement would be a much better reference. Thanks.
Best Answer:Yes! This Aquabelle skirted bottom features our exclusive Aquatex nylon fabric made with Extra Life® Lycra®. Aquabelle's Aquatex swimsuits last 5-10 times longer in chlorinated environments. Aquatex retains color and shape, and provides high UV protection.
Best Answer:I wear an 18 in this skirt, due to my plush "assets". This skirt still gives me complete coverage of my rear, hips and thighs, to fingertips. I hope this helps you make a great dicision, to get this swim bottom.
Long enough! :-) I didn't measure it but I really like the length. It's just right for me. I swim laps and do water classes 4-5 times a week and was looking for this particular kind of fabric that holds up better in a chlorinated pool. I'm actually really happy with this skirt and the top piece I bought along with it. (With same fabric) Hope that helps.
