After every use, the garment must be hand washed. Harmful elements such as suntan lotions, salt, chlorine, and body perspiration can cause discoloration and spandex breakdown. Since laundry detergents are too harsh on the spandex and the color, use mild hand soap made without added moisturizers. Do not wring the swimsuit to remove excess water. Lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel up and squeeze gently. Remove it from the towel and lay it flat to dry. Do not hang it to dry as that will stretch out the fibers in the fabric. Avoid using washers and dryers as damage can occur due to agitation and excessive heat. It is also important to let your suit "rest" between uses. This allows the spandex to bounce back (called recovery) to its original size and maintain its fit longer. If you wear a suit without letting it recover, it will lose its shape and fit more quickly. It's recommended to let the suit rest for 24-36 hours between uses. Always remove excess moisture with a towel and lay flat to dry indoors or in the shade. Also note, direct sunlight will fade your suit. It is always a great idea to have more than one suit.

Love itI bought this swimsuit for Hawaii. It was a hit. Great fit. I have a long torso and it fit great. It holds your tummy in and supports your bust. The straps in the back are a bit to short but that is my only complaint. It is a heavier material but comfortable to wear all day long. I wore mine most of the trip under my clothes. I never was self conscious about not wearing a bra. The built in bra is a bit snug but after wearing it a few times it seemed to fit better. I might have just gotten used to it. Overall my favorite swimsuit ever. I got many compliments and for a plus size girl that is flattering.

Water Aerobics and Lap Swimmer from
I receive many complimentsI bought this suit for water aerobics and to swim laps. This is my first chlorine resistant suit. I have gone through three (non-chlorine resistant) in six months but it is too early to tell if this suit will hold up. It is a very flattering style and I receive many compliments when I wear it. It is perfect for swimming laps but I do find the straps in the front sometimes restrictive when doing certain exercises in water aerobics. Overall, I like this suit and while it is too early to judge how it will stand up with continued pool use, I would recommend it. The only negative comment I have is that there is too much padding in the cups. I about a b/c cup size 10. This suit doubles my size which is not really what I am looking for during a work out.

Greeat Quality and styleHave 4 Aquabelle suits for my Water Aeorbics classes and I'm asked all the time Where did I get them? Haven't found this quality and style at the dept stores etc. It's been over a year now and I work out 4 time/week including winter and I rotate 3 of them (save this one for the beach) and they are still holding their shape and color Best buys I've made in a long while...Highly recommend :))) PS: I'm a 36DD and wear a 12/14 pant and get a 14 Suit, fits great!!

Great suit - great price!I found this suit online after 2 mos. of aqua aerobics classes destroyed my previous $80 suit. The design is sporty and flattering and it fits perfectly, allowing freedom of movement while holding my 'bouncy bits' in place even during vigorous aerobics exercises. If it holds up to chlorine as well as the description says, it'll be the last suit I'll ever own (though hopefully future replacement ones will be in increasingly smaller sizes - lol).

Thumbs Up!I do laps and aerobics 5 times a week for my health. This is the 4th aqua belle suit I have purchased. Am currently using two , with one tucked away for later. I notice you must go one size larger because of the suit construction around the bust, which is quite substantial. This is first cross back I have ever purchased, and I need to get used to the feel of it and am just starting to use it. Overall, I like the quality and fit of aqua belle suits. They are attractive on and, to date, all are holding up for me. So I guess that means a "thumbs up"!

Nice suitI bought this suit because I've been looking for a plus size suit with a racer back (hard to find. I was surprised at how heavy the suit was and by the built in bra. These are nice touches. I use it for swimming laps and doing water aerobics. This suit is very heavy and hot in really warm weather. I brought it to Puerto Rico and was dying at the pool in the sun, heat, and humidity. So far the color has held up from the chlorine (about a month old).

Like this suitThis is the tenth aqua belle suit I have purchased. I have been doing Aqua aerobic classes for three years, and the recently added water Zumba classes. I usually am in the water classes 5-10 hours each week. All the suits have held up well and it was time to order a smaller size. I have worn this suit twice, I like the style and the fit. I usually order the high neck style, and this was a nice change. The shoulders did not slip down as the tank styles tend to on my body frame. I would order this style again.

Bad for Rotator Cuff ProblemsI really like the way this suit looks, BUT it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get it on if you have any pain in your rotator cuff (common shoulder ailment for women over 50). The back is so high and the "power netting" lining is so strong and tight it is really difficult to pull up with a sore shoulder. I just sent it back today. Too bad, because it IS cute and looks like it would really hold up well.
I chose this bathing suit based off of an overall positive group feedback from new and return customers. I surf and was looking for something not only with support but with enough flair to be cute and attractive, all while giving me coverage that can withstand a bit of a beating from salt water, waves and sand. I look forward to receiving this item!
I chose this one for the "xtra Life Lycra" in it. i do many pool classes and have went thru many suits because the lycra is quickly ruined by the chlorine making it lose it's fit and they became loose and flimsy. hoping this one can hold up !
I absolutely love this suit. I bought it for water aerobics and I'm happy I did...it's great! I've lost 40 pounds and just had to order a smaller size and I love it so much I purchased the exact same swimsuit.
Is it really chlorine resistant for water aerobics classes?

Best Answer:Yes. I have this suit and aquasize 3 to 4 x per week. It will probably last you 8 to 12 months. Note - the fabric integrity may get compromised by the swimsuit spinner - this can happen to all suits.
Yes it did but if I remember correctly, the strap was very tight and dug into my back fat making it extra rolly. It was too narrow of a strip for a proper bra strap. If you have a firmer back than I, you won't have that problem. Good luck
Best Answer:The suit has a good built in bra that is black with nice cups and about an inch wide elastic band at the bottom of the bra. The band goes all the way around the suit so in front and back. Back opening is almost as high as a regular bra. I have not tried to add or remove bra pads. There is no pocket as you would find in a mastectomy suit. I use this suit often for water workout or water machines called Aquagym. Suit has held up well in pool environment for over a year. You migh be able to add gel pads to help with nipple show through.
I no longer have this swim suit. Have purchased 2 additional suits since this, LOVE them both, after much trial and error, I no longer put my swimsuit in the spinner (or) wash them in the washing machine, they last so much longer by simply rinsing them in cold water and allowing to drip dry. Will continue to purchase all of my swimsuits from SWIMSUITSforall, great styles and price.
Yes it does have a good built in bra. I don't see why you couldn't add or remove the pads, you would have to cut the suit though to get them out and stitch it back up. There is not a slitfour easy removal. This suit ran long, even fort my long torso, so make sure you have a long upper body!
Best Answer:This is a great suit- I love it! I was concerned about the sizing as well, as in the description it states it fits up to a D/DD. I'm far from that and it fits perfectly. Great for water aerobics class. I bought two! I think you will be very pleased with this suit
I'm going to be doing water aerobics and need something like this cross back suit. However I have a droopy muffin top and need something to hold me in. I found one, but the cups were below my breast. Any suggestions?
Best Answer:I think the suit will hold up just fine. My suit is mainly used for water aerobics in the pool. My suit fits and looks fabulous. I'm busty and I never felt self conscious while jumping up and down. Plenty of support as well.
I think you'll love the way this suit feels, looks and lasts while waterskiing.
I also have a large droopy "muffin" top belly. When I get one that keeps the droopy belly from coming out the leg openings, the top is either below my breast or waaaaay too big for my bust. Suggestions?
Best Answer:I have this suit in mint and also with pink trim. I have the "belly" problem also and carry most of my weight on the front of my body. I wear a 40 D bra and the size 18 is a tighter fit for belly. There is great support/control in this suit. I have to work slowly to get suit on and adjusted with some tugs to get bra support over my belly. Once all is in place it is a great suit. I use it for water workouts. It has held up very well in the pool.
Has anyone found that this suit (Xtra Life Lycra Aquabelle Mint Border Cross Back Swimsuit) scooped water while swimming laps? That has been my experience... so while I love this suit, I can't do laps with it. :(
A shopper on Jun 3, 2015
Best Answer:I am not exactly sure what you mean by "scoops water" but I have not had any problems with my suit and I swim laps weekly. I love it! The only issue is that it is a little long for my torso so there is some slight extra material. Enter an answer to this question.
Best Answer:This is one of my favorite Aquabelle suits, in fact , I have it in 3 colors. It's easy to put on; just drop the straps and step in just as you would a regular suit., pull up the straps in front, then reach to the back where the straps attach and straighten. You don't have to deal with straps sliding off your shoulders. On a personal note, I am 65+ and suffer with rheumatoid arthritis and have not had any issues getting into this suit.
I am 152-155 lbs, 5'3", bra 38 C ,& have a torn right rotator cuff. I participate in advanced water aerobics 2-3 times a week all year round. I wear a size 12 swimsuit but after reading the reviews that it 'runs small' is 'to hard to pull on' or 'too tight in the bust', & one mentioning 'a torn rotator cuff individual who could not pull it on'... Should I order the size 14?
Best Answer:A size 12 would likely work best for you, I wouldn't recommend sizing up. But due to the fact that you've got limited mobility when it comes to slipping a swimsuit over your head, I'd recommend one of our Zip Front Aquabelle 1-piece swimsuits! You can simply step into the suit & zip it up. Check out styles: 2740, 2745, 3418 & 3417.
Can I request the sizing of the 'plush empire band' ? I ordered a size 18 in a different Aquabelle suit and it fit and looked beautifully except one part. The empire band was only a 28inch circumference. It only stretched one more inch. I was so disappointed.
