After every use, the garment must be hand washed. Harmful elements such as suntan lotions, salt, chlorine, and body perspiration can cause discoloration and spandex breakdown. Since laundry detergents are too harsh on the spandex and the color, use mild hand soap made without added moisturizers. Do not wring the swimsuit to remove excess water. Lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel up and squeeze gently. Remove it from the towel and lay it flat to dry. Do not hang it to dry as that will stretch out the fibers in the fabric. Avoid using washers and dryers as damage can occur due to agitation and excessive heat. It is also important to let your suit "rest" between uses. This allows the spandex to bounce back (called recovery) to its original size and maintain its fit longer. If you wear a suit without letting it recover, it will lose its shape and fit more quickly. It's recommended to let the suit rest for 24-36 hours between uses. Always remove excess moisture with a towel and lay flat to dry indoors or in the shade. Also note, direct sunlight will fade your suit. It is always a great idea to have more than one suit.

Zipper broke!I was cautious about ordering a suit with a zipper, but tried it anyway. It looks good on my apple shape. I wore this suit a few times to the pool with my kids, and it worked fine until the last time I wore it. The top didn't start unzipping like If figured it might if it malfunctioned -- it started unzipping at the bottom! Not something you want to have happen when you're in a pool full of people. Talk about embarrassing!! I managed to get my shirt on to cover it and get to the bath house to fix it. I was able to fix it like any self-repairing zipper, but it never should have come undone in the first place. I have no confidence in this swimsuit any more.

FRUSTRATED with sizing!I am a stylish 59 yr.old who does water aerobics 5 to 6 times a week. My frustration with ALL the one peice suits on this site is the same; SIZING. I am large busted (34G). According to the size chart to fit DD cups, I should be ordering at least size 18!!! I have tried size 16 and it was way too big. Pardon the pun, but I would be swimming in size 18. Size 12 fits perfectly except for the bust. Size 14 fits better in the bust but the torso is too long! UGHHHH. I have tried all styles and the result is the same.

Perfect for Aqua-robicsThis is my 2nd Aquabelle suit and I couldn't be happier with the brand. My first suit lasted almost 2 years with weekly machine washing. What I like about this suit, as a busty gal, is the high neck, keeps everything in place during the bouncy parts of class. The zip front is nice, makes in and out easy peasy. My last suit had a back latch closure, not bad, but if you have any shoulder trouble, or are just uncoordinated, you might like this better. And the design is very flattering. I find it runs true to size. And they do indeed hold up very well to the chlorine.

Very happy with my purchase!I love this suit. It actually seems to flatter my large round/apple shaped body. I usually wear 20 or 22. I bought the 22 and I'm glad I did. Fits snug, but I love it. Do be careful with the zipper. It didnt give me any problems, but it would hurt if you get your skin into it. I've only washed it once, but it seems to be made well. Another reviewer mentioned that the zipper broke because she was using only one hand to zip it; I don't know, seems to be good quality stitching. Doesn't seem like a flimsy or cheap zipper. I will purchase this item again.

Nice suit BUTI bought the suit for Aqua Aerobics and love it except the white stripe wore out after a few uses. The rest of the suit is good. The fit is good - particularly in the bust area - really holds you in.

Awesomely Hot - But Falls Apart FastI bought two of theses because the suit is so sexy, but each one fell apart in four weeks of swimming laps. Sad. I would recommend the suit for people who are not actually going to swim in it. lol.

Sizing was not correctI followed the sizing directions exactly. I could barely zip it over my chest. I really want this suit, but I am afraid that I'll have to size up at least two sizes.

Aqua Queen from
Not for everyoneThis suit did not look good on my body type, size 10 hour glass. White stripes on the side were not flattering.
This appeared to me to be flattering yet great for "sporty" swimming. I have started actively swimming as part of my workout and am finding the 2 piece tankini types suits are not great for a more aggressive swimming workout.
I have lost 44 pounds and spend a lot of time in water aerobics. I needed something that would hold up with the chlorine but not cost a fortune since they are only last about 4 months before I need a smaller one.
"As a person who suffers with multiple disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, this swimsuit has been the easiest for me to get in and out of. I had two which have stretched out over the past year. Therefore, if it works, stick with it. Just ordered 2 more."
I choose this one because the white zipper makes it look slimming. I swim laps and I'm excited to have the zipper make it easier for putting it on/off. I'm taking it surfing with me in a few weeks so I hope it will be a good atheltic suit for that.
sizing: for style 2740: bust 47, waist 45, hips 53 and torso 68: what size do you recommend? Also, the magazine received in the mail said this was $33.60, but website says it is more. What is the cost? Also, reviews said the suit falls apart. I will be swimming everyday. Is this suit durable?
